Another resort with the complete wow factor is Meloneras. With its lengthy oceanfront promenade, bursting with bars and restaurants, a selection of boutique shops, casino and a golf course, it is evidently clear you will be sure to be kept busy morning, noon and night.
Another must-visit is Amadores. With its not to be missed beach club and picturesque Puerto Mogán, also known as Little Venice – it’s definitely worth spending an afternoon or evening relaxing here and taking it all in.

One of our favourites is the Real Club de Las Palmas, the first golf course in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe! A few other favourites include Meloneras Golf Course, perfect for spectacular sea views, Salobre Golf Resort, the only one of the Canary Islands to have two courses and finally Anfi Golf Course, perfectly balances a challenging game and unique volcanic landscapes.

Home to the largest city in the Canary Islands, Gran Canaria has an array of things of things to do, particularly in the capital Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Not only will you come across stunning beaches with golden sands, bustling bars, top-notch restaurants and a range of hotels and apartments nearby, but there is also a phenomenal historical quarter that we highly recommend you get stuck in to. You will find gorgeous, cobbled streets and a variety of architectural styles, ranging from late Gothic to Renaissance. It doesn’t stop there! For those with an interest in culture should pay a visit to Casa de Colon Mansion, Santa Ana Cathedral and the Museo Canario, all three will make it worth your while.
A GREAT FOODIE SCENE
The cuisine in Gran Canaria is truly sensational. With a wide range of gastronomical delights, there is something to suite everyone. The great thing about Canarian cuisine is many of their traditional recipes are locally sourced with beautifully fresh and natural ingredients, but with a twist. It will be sure to awaken your taste buds! From markets with fresh food and restaurants that have been converted from traditional stalls to top-end brasseries, it really does have it all. What’s more, the island joined the Saborea España Association.
