Adonis Baths Waterfalls
You’ll find a lovely alternative to beachfront swimming in the village of Kili near Pafos at the Adonis Baths Waterfall. Its waters are cool and refreshing, tumbling into a pool in the middle of the forest. It’s a legendary place not just in its scenery but in history as well, said to be where Aphrodite visited the waterfalls with her consort Adonis many times. It’s also believed to be a fountain of youth.
Agios Lazaros (The Church of Saint Lazarus)
Dating back to the 9th century, this Orthodox Church in Larnaka is known for its beautiful Byzantine architecture and stunning limestone exterior. It houses the tomb of Saint Lazarus, with a unique interior beautifully designed with gilded baroque iconostasis.
Arab Ahmet Mosque
Built in the late 16th Century, the mosque’s tombs hold some of the most important persons of the past. Its architecture is decidedly Ottoman with the impressive details immediately transporting one to the classical Ottoman architecture.
Kato Paphos Archaeological Park
