Bvlgari Ranfushi to open in Maldives

A new chapter in Indian Ocean luxury is about to begin. In 2026, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts will unveil Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi — a serene 20-hectare sanctuary in the Maldives’ Raa Atoll, fusing Italian design, barefoot rhythm and lagoon light.
THE NEWS
Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open its latest property, Bvlgari Resort Ranfushi, in 2026. Located in the Maldives’ northern Raa Atoll, the resort will feature 54 villas, including an exclusive villa on its own private island.
The project, designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, will introduce Bvlgari’s signature architectural elegance to one of the world’s most photogenic destinations. Highlights include four signature dining venues, a Bvlgari Spa, and a Bvlgari boutique, echoing the brand’s Roman heritage within a calm island landscape.
Industry observers have already listed the resort among the most-anticipated luxury openings of 2026, noting its blend of contemporary Italian craft and Maldivian authenticity.
THE FEELING BEHIND THE NEWS
If Bvlgari’s city hotels celebrate light and stone, Ranfushi will celebrate space. Here, the luxury isn’t spectacle — it’s silence, the stretch of lagoon between villas, the sound of sails in soft wind.
It’s a resort built not just for status, but for stillness — and for couples, it could become one of the defining destinations of the next decade.
